You could say this is rumor:

A few of my friends work at the bar/restaraunt/venue Proud Larry's in Oxford, MS. Their boss told them Sonic Youth's tour manager called to set up a gig in @ Proud L's but the venue was too small and they weren't going to be able to play the gig there. Proud L's boss referred him to another venue right down the road which is way bigger bar/venue called The Library. It's a definite maybe they'll play in or around Oxford in the upcoming months I would say!!!!
