going to see Sharpwaist, Silvum, Stillbirth and Karlheinz in upstate NY on the 18th
Gibby Haynes and C. Spencer Yeh in Brooklyn on the 19th maybe and might go see John Wiese+Carlos Giffoni, Mouthus on the 12th plus im playing shows on th 15th and 16th... anything else? I've decided against Teenage Jesus so I'll die if SY ends up opening... although they will be playing new stuff if they do so I guess it isnt so bad. so yeah, anything I don't know about that I should go see between June 17th and the 20th??? Checked Oh My Rockness but may some gutter punk show in someones attic that they missed? One of those days will be dedicated to HOSPITAL PRODS also, and I wanna check out Freedom Tunnel and 5pointz, anything else cool? Good dumpster diving spots? Places to buy drugs? Spots that sell alchohol to minors? WHERES THE BEST HOT DOG?

if you're a rock fan, see the dirty pearls and statues of liberty june 21st. statues of liberty are a three-piece awesome catchy pop-punk band with a cute japanese drummer, and dirty pearls are dirty rock. i think the show is at arlene's.
bang camaro is playing on the 12th - heavy metal with like 20 lead singers. i think that's at bowery ballroom. none of my picks are alt-noise-hipster stuff, but they're fun picks nonetheless. |
