I'm exactly the same boat here, I have a tiny button-sized electric fan aimed at me but it's not working. I'd strip naked but I don't want my dog to wander in and see me.

I tried to do this, and I couldn't get my shower to work. I'd pull up the thing there on the main faucet, but the water just wouldn't come out of the shower head. I tried for ten minutes before I said fuck it. Maybe in a couple days we'll all be used to the heat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway.

I don't like the heat at all either.
When I was in Trinidad I got a heat rash on my face, stomach, the backs of my legs, back, and my wrists. Used a whole tube of Lanicane (or however you spell that) haha, that shit has the nastiest texture.

pendejo, the american civ has refrigerated air. it is pumped into dwellings by means of electrically powered fans. we don't call it artificial windchill but air conditioning-- a most ingenius technology, really. i hope you limeys adopt it soon. it could improve your body odor (fat chance, but there's always hope). |

summers in the UK are much nicer than those in the states, where summer is absolutely disgusting. 90+ degrees and humid? no thanks.
