I just got a copy after seeing them live. (My friend's band the Gothees opened up, which was a nice surprise, because I didn't know about it.)
Innermost is sung by Peter Prescott if memory serves me correctly and then there is this cool looping thing where they have these really low pitched vocals at the end. My God Can Beat Up Your God is a punkier number with Roger singing the verse, and Clint singing a pretty chorus. |

I do not have it but I certainly envy you for having a copy. I'd kill for more new Burma.

If it's the same song "My God Can Beat Up Your God" was orginally by a Miami punk band Broken Talent. Might've been their only single... I've got it on Killed By Florida compilation LP but I think it's on another KBD record. Antiseen also covered it on their "Southern Hostility" LP. Seems like a strange song for MOB to cover as the chorus is "My god can beat up your god, your god can suck on my rod".

I think theirs is different
the MoB song goes: My God can beat up your God My God can beat up your God So have a nice day have a nice day My God will make (might be break) up with your God My God will make up with your God so have a nice day have a nice day I think he also throws in Dog and Dad in there as well instead of God (this is all Roger singing) then Clint Conley sings a really pretty chorus |
