a lot of my keys have stopped working

on my keyboard and i have no idea how to get them back. the eoro sign key and some of the others like alt are dead. its a laptop so its not an external keyboard. i am typing this on my wifes computer incase you are wondering.

any suggestions other than a re boot?

This happened to me once, and then everything suddenly went back to normal. Computers are just a bit spazzy like that. How long have they been malfunctioning?

apply hammer with sufficient force

try it-- it gets them unstuck

few days, its not because i dropped or abused the thing in any way, i have tried all the updates etc but no joy.

Weird. It never lasted that long for me. Usually it went away after a few hours, a day tops.. :S

did you spill anything on it? if its a regular keyboard you can jammy them of with a butter knife and clean the connection part.
