Actually, no. Sometimes I get the feeling that one of Sonic Youth's primary goals at this time is to get their music heard by as many demographics as possible.

The way the Japanese dude raps/sings the lead vocals in that song, is identical in tone, delivery, structure, and spacing to Crank Dat by Soulja Boy.
