Are Kanye West threads allowed on the SY forum? Cus it would be a real shame if we didn't discuss this motherfucker of an album.

I have a real problem with Kanye West generally but I've heard so many haters of his previous stuff say this is necessary. I have such a long list of new releases to hear, though. Is there any specific gem I should check out or a few? It may bump it up higher on my list.

Gems as in specific tracks on this? It's hard to do that....this album really works well as a single thematic/flowing piece imho.

I am so psyched for this album it's unreal, but I've been just generally avoiding listening to any of it right now because I'm too skint to buy it yet. My plan is to wait for the vinyl next month, buy it then, and just have a total geek out week on it. Then expect a late to party gushing post here haha.

The 2nd track with Kid Cudi and Raekwon is pretty fucking perfect. It's actually really a great record.

The more I listen to this the more I think it is one of The All Time Greats, like Daydream Nation, or Blonde On Blonde, or Astral Weeks, or The Beatles, or SMiLE, or Automatic For The People. Etc.

There's not a weak moment over 68min. Never for 5sec do I lose interest in this epic muthafucker.
