maybe ebay. would depend on what they are, of course.
then again the used record store's probably faster and easier, if you have one in your area, although you won't get more than 2 or 3 bucks per, I would guess.

I, too, have a number of CDs I want to sell (mostly for the money, which I need, but also because I rarely if ever listen to them). I've never sold CDs before. I was always very adamant about keeping all the ones I ever bought or received. Most of the CDs I'll be giving away were gifts from friends, so I held on to them just to be nice. But now that I have to pack for college, I'm realizing that: A) Those albums suck and I've never liked them, and B) I really need to get rid of a lot of shit.

leave your house and go sell them at a record store that takes second hand or a pawn shop or something, then you don't have to deal with all the other shit that comes with online selling

If you're selling that kind of stuff, then ebay is probably the wrong place. Once you've paid your fees you won't be left with much. Plus there's the hassle of listing each CD. There are places online that buy in bulk, you just send a list and they'll tell you what they want, then you ship (usually how it works). It might be worth doing a google search. I have used somebody for that but it was a UK site so not much use to you.
Secondhand store might be your best bet, even though you won't get a huge amount for Spice Girls CD's. |

Pawnbrokers are dying out buying CD's nowadays.
If you have a local store that specialises in secondhand cd's etc, then take them to that and sell them. They'll tend to give you alittle more. But I doubt they'll give you much if anything for SpiceGirls and Britney Speares, as they'd have been offered hundreds of them over the years and they weren't good in the first place.

I also recommend the local record store. The one here offers cash or store credit, and its so instantaneous.

I recommend keeping the Spice Girls albums. You just never know when the mood will strike.

i went to two record stores near my house. one of them will trade for other secondhand cds but won't give out cash. and the other said that it depends on the music, but seeing as how the collection they have is nothing near britney spears and so on, they prolly won't take my shit.
i also found an online place that offered 11 bucks for 10 of my cds. not too much but that the most i've found so far |

With stuff like that (nobody'll touch em for more than a buck, if that), I find more reward in just giving them away to somebody who wants them. See if your local library will take them as a donation. Or Goodwill, Salvation Army?
Or just keep them. You can never tell what might be considered "collectible" in another 30 years.

but... you're finding out nobody will give you any for these... right? Time to try another cash-making tactic, perhaps? Any blood banks around your town? Any (gasp) work (dirty word!) to be had?
