After enjoying the song 'My Curse' by Afghan Whigs for the longest time, I decided to research vocalist Marcy Mays. I had never heard of her band Scrawl until recently but I really like what I hear based on samples, etc.
Anyone more familiar with this act and can recommend a place to start? |

I have THank You. I like it. They're decent.
I like Le Scrawl better, though... |

I used to live in Columbus, Ohio, where they were from (I think they broke up). Their base of operations was about a block from where I lived for awhile. Um, yeah. A few good songs. They can't really play too well. I've seen them live a few times in various settings (small clubs, outdoor festivals). They fucked up a lot. I like the album Velvet Hammer the most. Hm. That's it. I got nothing else.
