sennheisers are great, but most of the time I prefer akgs when it comes to full headphones, but I think I will check the sennheiser cx300. sounds pretty good in the reviews

mine weren't very expensive and sound awesome.
then again, almost anything would sound better than iPod earbuds (which I still use and love). |

These.
Philips In-ear surround headphones. Can be had for $15-20 here. Great bass and great sound. The only issue is they tend to mess up after 2 years of constant use. I'm on my 3rd pair, probably going to buy a 4th soon as backup. I also have Bose in-ear that were $100, but they're a little too heavy and expensive for my usual usage.

ive made a decision a hour ago, I bought these:
AKG K324P and I am blasted to heaven right now. its like being born again sonic-wise! the bass is incredible but pretty clear, even if you dont use equalizer settings, the bass goes really really low (not too loud, there is just ALL the bass what have been recorded) the highs are brilliant (not shrill, absolutely not, best highs ever heard on in ears, til yet) and the mids are comforting neutral, ot shrill at all. the are soundin ace on beat driven-electronic music and they are sounding ace on guitar driven music (which was a problem with al the headphones Ive ever had, only one genre would be supported really good) it was the right decision, 40 euros well spent. I can only recommend them!!! |

Well it appears it's too late, but I finally found the name of the ones I have: these. Creative EP-630. $20-$30.

yeah I know, but I dont like them for mobile listening, cause (Ive said that too ) my hair is too "big" for them, afterwards I look like someone whos woken up recently...
and yeah, try the AKG K701 I think they are the realest headphones you can get!! (will definately buy them sometime for ultimate audio pleasure at home) |

I'd like something bomb proof. My earphones get a lot of abuse, I go trough a pair every six months or so. Any recommendations?
Edit: preferably w/ built-in mic and volume control. |

Anything like Panasonic's RP-HJE900?
They were discontinued, can't find them anywhere. |
