oh that... hm...
you could be like a japanese sararyman and drink a whole thermos of green tea a day. the shit is actually anticancer. and since you can drink tons you'll get your caffeine levels up eventually. |

I don't think I'd fancy an entire flask of green tea in a day. It's something I only drink when the mood takes me which is not all that often.

i drink green tea with relatively high frequency for an english person, but it's not really a substitute for normal tea.
i stopped drinking the coke after a couple of weeks because i don't want to destroy my teeth. i need to find a good kick type thing to replace nicotene. |

you could wait until it's all out of your system & you feel normal. i mean there is no reason our bodies should require extra help to stay awake. really.

no there isn't, but once you've been smoking for ten 10 years you get used to it, it wasn't so much to stay awake as a kind of kick in the arse mid morning and afternoon. anyway, i was only after 2 months as non-smoker that i started to crave some other kind of thing. large amounts of time spent in the pub during the world cup got me back on the cigs though.

Quitting smoking is the worst. I've tried many times. I've been smoking since age 11. Coffee is far worse though. I'd never be able to live without caffeine. I drink 2-3 pots a day.

Well, it is kind of the same here except with coffee. I never drink but as soon as I smell coffee I need a smoke.
