It makes me realise how old I am. I think I'm cool and hip and street, I think I know what 'the kids' are into, but really I haven't got a clue, have I? I'm like a teacher doing the 'robot' dance at the school disco.

i voted for the Luftballons, but it is actually the only song I know from the list.
i really like the singing part and that story about the luftballons perceived as a threat in the horizon, but that supposedly bouncy instrumental bridge... i must admit i have a hard time getting into it... nina hagen now appears on german tv on shows like "pop idol" (or whatever they are called... maybe "Deutschland sucht eine neue Star"...)... never really watched that for more than 5 seconds, so I don't really know how she is like these days... |
