i hike every morning with 3 dogs. the bitch is the most intelligent-- i can do anything to her & she'll just lie down & be submissive-- ive even used her as a doormat. i have a mixture of liking and contempt for it. but i give her doggy biscuits at the end of each walk-- every animal needs a small reward.
