Just finished. S2 is really something. Excited to hear what you think. Let me know if you cry at any point while considering the current state of America. Wanna see if I’m the only one. |

fucking great. highly enjoyable. not so much the quality of it all which as documentaries go, whatever, this is a puff piece— but the subject matter. yeah. great. count me in. |

Handmaids 2 was good. Didn't cry anywhere, but did seriously damn near shout "RIGHT ON!!" at certain parts of the resistance.
NW "Life'' (Korean medical drama series) A little hard to follow some things, but well acted and artistically filmed. Some very good soundtrack moments and some very bad ones. BC Saul latest series, a lot more bloody and no real humor to it (yet) So far, dissappoint! Snowfall, meh, why no soundtrack of 80's black music, plus the CIA guys just don't ring true Insecure season 2, really makes me look forward to next Season of Atlanta. When the cast of Insecure is at the club and there's a violent incident, I want to see an invisible car driving thru--AT:LANTA IS BRILLIANT!! Insecure is OK, so far S2 not as good as S1 Deadwind, Finnish cop show. A little slow moving, but great cinematography (plus attractive Finn girls are right up my alley, I married one. SUOMI!) |

“victoria” season 2, which is a pbs/masterpiece british thing (prolly the name rebecca eaton is attached to it somewhere, i have not checked), i.e., white people tv
it’s, you know, okay to almost fall asleep to at night, but ive seen photographs of queen victoria and she certainly didnt look like that. still entertaining from the historical point of view, however whitewashed (lol) it must be. one picks up references, this and that, for future use and connection, even in ridiculous soap operas. |

I love it. The acting is excellent. The story is excellent. I thought season 1 might have been a fluke, but it just glued me to the screen. |

SHARP OBJECTS on HBO is *very* good but ***very*** upsetting.
Just watched the last episode, and it’s not letting go of my mindspace. Love that Amy Adams, though. Damn near revolutionary in its use of music. Non-traditional soundtrack/sound curation, but utterly effective. Powerful as FUCK. VERY bizarre with the music. Watch it. It will probs haunt u |

i’m not severian, but... team dwight schrutte? i thought jim was a boring fucking character. his girlfriend too. they’re supposed to be “the normals”. they suck. me i don’t “hate” the actor but i have him so identified with halpern it’s hard for me to believe him as a badass agent shooting “terrists”. i’ll try to take a look though, in spite of my repugnance for tom clancy’s imperialist ideology. he is long dead but his paranoia and racism live on. otoh, i do like wendell pierce aka antoine batiste aka bunk moreland. |

I’m team Dwight. Jim was funny before he got what he wanted. Then he became painfully normal. Sports marketing?! Who goes from selling paper to “sports marketing” and meeting with professional athletes because they know some basketball? Sports marketing my fucking taint |

Rashida for SURE. She went to Harvard, you know. Definitely more interesting and fiery than *Pam* (yeah, like that’s a name) “Pam” is like ... like ... lifeless Amy Adams (who... oh my god Amy Adams, call me!). And funnily enough, Jim spurned *Amy* for her too (in season 1, before AA got famous, dated Jim, was gone by start of season 2, blamed on Jim’s headache for “Pam” ... yuuuhhhhright). |
