I was there all weekend, I had a chalet with Nefeli. No, we haven't met IRL before. The only other SYGers I saw there were Pokkeherie, Glice, & Jimbrim, but then I'm not sure I'd recognize anyone else from here who was there, aside from Slavo.

such a great weekend, most of the acts that played i enjoyed.
highlights: Keiji Haino (unbelievable, possible one of my favourite live experiences i have witnessed. i'll have to make sure i'm there when he comes to London) John Butcher Borbetomagus Emeralds (i'm a big fan of the band, and i knew i would enjoy it based on the performance they put on in London recently. it was nice to hear them play Passing Away off of their s/t in a live context... shame about the speaker though) Philip Jeck |

they used to do it, they stopped though. i'm guessing if he's playing with brotzmann and bower that he won't be playing for more than about 1 hour |

I'm really glad you guys had fun.
Unless there's some tangerines poisoning going on. SO, snow and ice did not create problems, after all?

there was no snow in somerset and the roads were mainly clear one the way down. it was a barmy 7 degress warmer than where i came from so i didn't feel too cold. on the way back it was a bit foggy but nothing major.
what's with the tangerine question EvdWee? you've got me paranoid now! |

Last time I saw NNCK, they threw oranges into the audience. An audience member sent one flying back at the band. It flew in a lovely arc, and hit one of the NNCK guys right on the top of his head.
