That is bad to the ass. As for your dilemma, DiscoDildo, I'd say, just get a job that won't require you to work ALL THE TIME -- a job that is easy, simple, pays decent with decent benefits, and allows you to take off to play with your band. That's why I work at WAL-MART -- a lot of people in real life make fun of me, but those people are in debt out their ears, and will be forever; I have no debt, work part time now (used to work fulltime but I saved up lots of money), have a healthy bank account/401k and there's GREAT insurance plans too -- the coolest thing has to be the "profit sharing".. if Wal-Mart does good for that quarter, you get a bonus pay check. Yep, a bonus check every 3 months.. they've been doing this 2 years and the smallest one I got was $100. One time I got a $650 bonus. Best of all, the store has 465 employees (and we're not even the biggest Wally World around here or anything -- hell, there's another one in our CITY, a city of 43,000!), so whenever I need to take off for a show or a film festival, it's simple as pie. They have NEVER called me to get me to work or anything, either; no hassle, no stress (I stock frozen tv dinners), and I make GREAT money, with a 60 cent raise every year, as well as merit raises if I work extra good. I can go in tonight and tell them I want to work 5 days a week again, or I can tell them I want to work one day a week, and they're cool with whatever, since they support people working more than one job, or going to school. Oh, and you get a 10% discount card. Now, don't get me wrong, I hate the company, and I would NEVER shop there -- I shop at Target and Big Lots, which are side-by-sidein this city -- but I really can't think of a better place to work, if you a) don't want a lot of responsibility, b) just want to make a decent living, and c) don't want to worry about getting fired (I've missed 16 days this year, without a doctor's statement, and have gotten yelled at once.. that's about it. People miss all the time, or are always late, or never get their work done... no one seems very concerned about it). Obviously, every Wal-Mart's going to be different (I've seen some anti-Wal-Mart documentaries that make those particular stores seem like Hell; I've NEVER been asked to work off the clock, work overtime, etc.. though there IS plenty of opportunity FOR overtime, if that's what you want). Just get a job there, or a job LIKE that, then take off whenever you want and play your gigs. Then, if you get really successful playing music, you can quit your job, too. Despite me typing 149 words per minute and having the ability to be a stenographer or a great secretary or a data entry specialist or something else where I could make a lot more money... which I may still do one day, don't get me wrong... but I kinda am just going to be lazy, for the rest of my life (I don't have much life left anyway, mind you)... my job has NEVER gotten in the way of ANYTHING I've wanted to do, I've asked for days off and they give 'em to me right away, I've never broken a sweat despite being a hard worker and getting all my work done (all my managers have told me I'm one of the best in the store, and quite a few have told me I'm the absolute best, not that I'm bragging, because it's not something I aspire to be haha).. I've msised a hundreds days and been late a thousand times in the past 6 years, and I've managed to go to parties, show up to work drunk/fucked up, and played concerts while still working, it's been fun as hell. You'd dig, man!! |

Stoner moment of my life:
While transporting a put out insence stick from my suite (my dorm room set up is like a hotel, you go in theres a counter, a bathroom and then two rooms, each room has two people) bathroom to my room, I drop manage to lose the stick from the holder. My roommate is asleep, so I can't turn on the light, which leads to at LEAST five dizzying minutes of patting around for this incense stick... only to find (for the love of god I can't tell you what inspired me to look) it in the rubber crevice bettween the refrigerator and it's door. I open the fridge so that I can pick it up and it falls in. I can't find it Turns out it fell into an opened and empty king cobra bottle that is still sitting in there. I rescued the incense and all is well. I suck at story telling... but the story wasn't really interesting... just sort of amusing in a sad, mumblecore sort of way.

For whatever reason, in my web search box of the monitor it reads "UNCLE GODDAMN! - 6/10" I am confused. I do not remember web searching this phrase.

I think this is pretty much all you need to know about youtube's third party content filter. I love and hate our day and age. |
