Huskers on a Plane 2: Huskers on a Rocket: Plot Synopsis

Man or Astroman? have decided to attack earth with intergalactic space music. The only hope is in the form of a mad scientist named Mark Mothersbaugh, who can build a rocket that can go to space and defeat the Man or Astroman? Fleet. His astronauts need to be able to play music that is fucking raw to beat the awesomeness of Man or Astroman? So Nasa and DEVO contract the Yoof and Huskers to command the space mission.

Special appearances by: Joel, Tom Servo, Crow T. Robot, Cambot, Gypsie, Lou Reed, Syd Barret, and more!

Mark Mothersbaugh: Look here spridle and chim chim, my latest creations. The ring modulator is a device that challenge the extra-terrestrial's theremin! And look here: I can intercept their transmissions. We are getting one right now!

(interior spaceship orbiting the moon)
Coco the Electronic Monkey Wizard: Astromen- prepare the synthesizers, the guitars, the tapes, the theremins, and the tesla coils, we attack earth tomorrow!

(Interior, General's office)
General Mothersbaugh: Boojie boy, we must inform the world about devolution.
*phone rings*

General Mothersbaugh: General Mothersbaugh's office

General Mothersbaugh: You mean. . . Man or Astroman intends to destroy us with surf music?

General Mothersbaugh: You need an awesomely raw musical act to defeat them in space battle? I know just who to signal for. . .

(outdoors, a spotlight shines a the silhouette of a jazzmaster onto the clouds)

Thurston: To the Yoof cave!

*theme music- Devo uncontrollable urge begins playing*
