These bootlegs look like elaborate, overpriced swindles. In the age of MP3s, new levels are being sunk to in the name of sacred vinyl.

Never been very excited about bootlegs (I have exceptions of this princible, got few very great bootlegs from Pink Floyd, Tom Waits & Dr. John). Limit of the bootleg & official release is very difficult when talking about sy. One thing I hate is bootleg versions of the official releases. I mean if somebody make an bootleg, it should be material not released before.

The fact that they're in the same order as the album suggests they're about as real as the "EVOL demos" I wasted valuable tape trade space on back in the 90s. I don't think SY did many demos before Goo (though I was surprised when they released that "Catholic Block" demo).
