I want an iPod. I've owned two in the past, but they don't seem to last longer than 2 years.

So...now I want the new nano. Something to just distract me while on the train. I was possibly thinking of a shuffle, but I do not like not being able to choose what I want to listen to. Plus those wristbands to make it into a watch look pretty cool.

I'm a bit behind with the times... I've never had an ipod or any other mp3 player. I still have my walkman and discman. I have just got a minidisc player though so maybe in 10 years time I will get an ipod.

yeh, I love technology, but I can't say that it loves me back. My first iPod was a 3rd Generation('07) at a whopping 10 GIGS!, which I think was the best...in terms of physical design but then I left it at a "friends" house where it was never seen again. I got another in '09 which was cool but I hated how it looked....but then I lost it. And now, I need one because of my 2 hour commute.

The only rason I love iPods is because it's much easier to organize your music while yer in a car or on a bus or somethin'...It's just so easy to have everything at yer fingertips.

If vlc is having the same issue, the problem might not be software related.

Are you trying to play the videos from an external drive? If so, move them to the pc first in case your usb connection is causing the bottleneck.
