What was so great about yesterday (or, the other day, by now) Antagon?

Yesterday was fucking brutal, had the day off and obsessed about the past.

Today is better, getting my hair cut and I found I've lost 7lbs in the last week. Fucking awesome.

overnight rain. woke up to a dream of neighborhood construction. read about afghan istan and pakistan and the war. read some memoir fo 50's philadelhia. proud of myself for not poring over it. happy it is entertaining and edifying. blah blah blah. nap. indian food 4 lunch. pizza for dinner. royal trux cd interrupted by phone call from dad. what a stupid dick. (love his vocabulary though.) now listening to what we know on repeat. idk, this lacks nuance.

My girlfriend had a talk with me, then had sex with me, then dumped me, then asked me to stay the night. I'm extremely proud of myself for finding the strength to leave. I'd see her again, I don't want it to be over. But at least I got out rather than spending the night being in a mutual clingy dead end. My chances of sleep are much better on my own couch and I'll be considerably closer to work in the morning.

Off now to let my babysitter smoke me out...
