I don't really remember, I saw this like a year ago. It needs to come on TV so I can watch it again.

What was the one part? The guy who jumped and right after decided he didn't want to die. So he did something weird and like broke his legs or something, and then he was talking about seals saving him?

Yeah The Bridge is a crazy documentary. Really depressing, but fascinating as well.

He went straight down, and was afloat a seal.

The girl didn't jump off, she was stopped by cops.

I honestly never walk through customs without thinking about that film. I watched it as a kid and it really freaked me out

Yeah, Alan Parker's an interesting one. Stuff like Fame and Bugsy Malone are great. But he was sort of swept aside, which is weird. He really was pretty good. And I don't think he made any major flops.

Funny, I thought about it when I was going through customs too. I had watched it a few months before though.

I got really freaked at customs, had nothing bad at all but I was still super nervous.

i haven't seen some of his stuff (e.g. what you mentioned) but i *did* love the pink floyd movie and the road to wellville which is fucking hilarious, about the budding health quackery industry in the early XXth century, the invention of the cornflake, high voltage dildos, "hysteria curese", and all kinds of funny stuff. great cast too w/ anthony hopkins, john cusack, mathew broderick, and the blonde guy from wayne's world.

you should definitely watch some of his stuff from the seventies. Fame really is an excellent film that's usually written off because of its subject matter, and that crappy tv series that followed it.

- me too. like ive got shit through the airport before, more than once actually but it's too much of a pain in the ass and more risk than it's actually worth. plus i'm hella paranoid as it is even though i'm not actually afraid of going to jail.

this usually puts me right to sleep and i STILL didn't fall asleep
