$500 million doesn’t buy as much as it once did!
TEXAS Republican turnout for an uncontested primary in Texas is dwarfing Democratic turnout for what will be one of the closest primaries of the night. |

My takeaways:
1) The establishment rallied around Biden and it worked. He won states he didn't even campaign in! He's not going to get that sort of help in the general. Trump will completely destroy him like he did with Hillary and the exact same "Bernie divided the party" nonsense will be blamed. The DNC would rather let Trump win than have Bernie fundamentally change the balance of power within the party, that much is evident. You think a guy who can barely get his sentences out and is long past his prime will beat Trump? Cause that ain't happening. 2) Warren staying in the race is absolutely inexcusable. She split Bernie's vote in multiple states and handed it to Biden. If she cares one iota about getting progressives in power then she would have dropped out as soon as the moderates started consolidating. But she doesn't, she only cares about herself. 200k votes for her in Texas and she wasn't even viable. 200k progressive votes thrown in the dumpster and set alight. She is a phony and is a Ralph Nader. 3) Voter suppression in Texas and California in mostly poor communities. People waiting in line to vote for 7 hours. Disgusting. They really fucking don't want Bernie as the nominee. If you need to pull out that many tricks to get Joe Biden in the lead then maybe he's just a shitty candidate that no one is enthusiastic for. 4) Bloomberg lol |

well, turns out the man has been fighting a stutter all his life. i had no idea. https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine...rofile/602401/ and he’s way more lucid and competent than the dotard. he’s also human, not a bloated sociopath. as for the establishment etc— well, this is how people organize themselves, no? a political party is an organization. if they can’t organize themselves, then what are they? seems to me you’re the one who would rather see trump win over a moderate. me, i want trump sent back to hell by whatever means. what you’ve been missing all along is the ideological bent of mainstream america. you watch from far away and read the news and see tv programs but don’t talk to a bus driver or people at the supermarket. this is a fairly conservative country, overall. do i like this? no, but it is how it is. and the revolutionary youth that’s supposed to turn out in great numbers never turns out. am i happy about this? fuck the hell no. but again it is what it is. i can’t force the little fuckers to mobilize, or show up in time. Quote:
i’ve said this before, but i don’t think that her supporters will translate magically into bernie supporters. otherwise they would have been there already. some will go to bernie no doubt, others will go to biden. warren has been a democrat for a long time, bernie is only using the party system for his candidacy, which is perfectly fair and legal, but voters choose according to a myriad factors and party loyalty is one of them. progressive longtime democrats might support one of their own rather than an outsider. Quote:
i don’t know man, there was early voting. why people choose to stand in line to the last minute i’ll never understand. i have not looked at these reports yet but i’m sure they will come out soon and get discussed to death. of course the republicans and russian trolls will want to exploit whatever “controversy” can be made up from this. so i’m going to start with a skeptical stance and go from there. i’m not going to be the ally of my gravediggers. anyway, uncle joe may not be the greatest politician, but he’s a good man who will bring decency back to the presidency and can help democrats keep the house and recapture the senate, and nominate judges, and so forth. polls have been showing voters are really wanting to dump trump, and if they can do it without a socialist revolution and government takeover of the health sector they will, because again, this is a fairly conservative country. e.g.: virginia. i used to live there, i was surprised when they went blue for obama, and im glad they’ve turned blue lately, but democratic socialism is a bridge too far for those dc suburbs. Quote:
yeah when people said he’d buy the election i responded he can only buy commercials. he’s the new coke. i assume he’ll put his billions to work for biden now because his stated concern is to get rid of the disgrace in the white house. |

Man, I was starting to look out graphs and stats that I've seen to address you point by point but don't have much time today soz.
Biden forgets what he's saying mid-sentence. He forgets what state he's even in. His record is atrocious and looks terrible in the modern day. He will crumble under scrutiny and Trump will look better by comparison. You say to look at mainstream America yet it seems your bias against Trump is blinding you to the fact that he is a formidable opponent and someone Biden is not equipped to deal with. It's the exact same shit I heard about Hillary vs. Trump and then everyone was like "how could this happen??" afterwards. "At least I'm not the other guy" didn't work last time and it won't work this time. And how will he help recapture the house and senate when he is the default candidate with little enthusiasm? Obama lost 1000 house seats throughout his 8 years. Also there's a list of occupations and which candidate they majorly support. Bus drivers, retail workers and other low income jobs all support Bernie. Biden's occupation support is much more affluent and finance related. They didn't early vote because they had the expectation of going to the polls on the day they're supposed to vote and didn't expect massive issues. You're making excuses. Majority white neighbourhoods in Texas had no issue voting, "smooth sailing" one said. It's wrong and it's the party's fault. And Bloomberg couldn't give a shit whether Trump wins or loses. It doesn't effect him at all. He doesn't want Bernie to win and be wealth tax'd, that's all it is. Also also, graphs from 2016 -> 2020 primaries show a not insignificant chunk of Bernie's support went to Warren. I'm seeing some Warren surrogates switch to Bernie now. It's on her. |

Saying voter suppression is a secret method to deny Sanders the nom is one of the stupidest fucking things I’ve read in some time. Keep digging into wherever in the hell you're getting that stuff from, it is Onion worthy
