Actually, this topic interests me.

The internet is an enormous juggernaut of mass media that contains a mind-boggling amount of written material. I do care because it is going to largely affect the preservation of language and the written word.

If you're aware of your own apathy towards it and refuse to take the two seconds necessary to correctly punctuate and/or conjugate, and if you refuse to care, I wouldn't exclude you from those masses.
