im gonna get razzed for this, but i will have to respectfully disagree because i love cLOUDDEAD way too much. i know public enemy were pioneers, but cLOUDDEAD take hiphop to an entire new level of "not sounding like pretty much every other hiphop/rap group out there".

I thought mean-o was pretty rad and all like "I'm too cool to think of something that rhymes." That was my impression anyway.
(I spelled two things wrong, but I fixed them. It's past my bedtime obviously.)

hahahaaaa. no way about Sleepin' Around. SA isn't thaat great lyrically, but.. i mean.... "my friend goo has a real tattoo, she always knows just what to do"

that whole songs rhymes are so forced and not thought out at all... it kills me to listen to.

I've never heard cLOUDDED. I'm going to have to check them out.

but after PE every other hip hop/rap groups have kind of left me out in the cold..

I think My Friend Goo is just a fun song. I don't think the lyrics should have been thought out too much. I get a spontaneous, "who gives a shit about lyrics" feel when I listen to it and I like.
