This night I 've watched BLADE RUNNER for the 1457th time. It's always so good. I love this atmosphere and the gigantic setting. I'd like to cross this big city.

i watched eternal sunshine of the spotless mind for the first time wednesday and i gotta say i liked it a lot.
it has a lot of flaws but the story and the way it's carried is so well done, those flaws get nullified. |

Blood Diamonds. Not a bad movie at all.
Then we watched Black Dahlia which I fell asleep half way through. So that will be continued shortly today.

Just finished watcing "Barry Lyndon", I was quite hesitant to watch it intially, because long, period pieces aren't partically my taste, and while I can easily see critcs chastiing it for being a overly-long dull period piece, I was surprised that I liked it as much as I did, of course I put the total credit to Kubrick, who's named attached to film was the sole purpose of even bothering to sit through such a film.

a successful 2005 Japanese film based on the popular Manga of the same name. I throughly enjoyed it and thought it was a good introduction into the story. The Ren/Nana storyline got a bit too much near the end though but it all worked out with "Hachi" coming home. Shouji's story was pretty awesome especially when it all broke down. Really good live action film. I heard Nana 2 wasn't as good so I guess I won't be watching that anytime soon. good shit over all. as far as Jarmusch goes, i've seen Ghost Dog, Night on Earth and Stranger Than Paradise in full and just added this movie to the list yesterday night. was definitely not disappointed. it was exactly what i expected from another early Jarmusch film. Tom Waits is classic as Zack the DJ. Lurie is Lurie, slick and cool. and Benigni.. oh boy. good shit. "I scream, you scream, WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!" |

I just saw thumbsucker, really good film.
I was just looking at some trees, does anyone know any films with scary trees that come alive and start waving their branches like arms? |

Shrek 3. Good movie, but somewhat predictable and corny at times. To make it worse, there was a trailer for that Nancy Drew movie that was ABSOLUTELY PAINFUL to sit through!
