I don't think Kim "wrote" any songs before like Washing machine. Most or her songs were written by Thurston. I may be wrong.

I actually have an answer. At my juncture in my career, I usually reply with something like,

"I would like to grow with the position and contribute to the College as an editor/writer who is respected not only internally but also across campus as the expert who can get the word out about the College's priorities and goals."

Something like that. In other words, I'm not going anywhere, I want to stay here, and get better at what I do.
