I find it interesting that a couple people mentioned Halloween but I have a sneaking suspicion my copy of Bad Moon Rising actually doesn't have that song. I know I've heard it on Screaming Fields of Sonic Love... must investigate.

Joy Division- She's Lost Control is a good one.

Also, I've always found that The Fragile Right, by Nine Inch Nails is a good album for this purpose. Particularly the songs "Into the Void" and "The Big Come Down".
