I just got into Jay Reatard last month and I really like his stuff.

I would have not connected him to Sonic Youth but since there's a record to be released with both of them, I guess I'll have to put my hands on it.

And see what that Parisian store looks like.

I just contacted one of the participating stores (Rough Trade in London), and they said that the singles are only going to available in the store (not by mail or online order) on the actual Record Store Day (which, thankfully, is a Saturday).

I'm gonna go to my local on record store day; but I get the feeling I might be hunting these f'ing things down on ebay. which sort of defeats the purpose of record store day. NO?
