People have done much worse for much less... Remember Brittany Murphy's overdose on drugs it was on every fucking news report that turned out she was actually killed by rat poison, after she had complained about some "conspiracy" shit? the MSM to this day repeats the lie the Jimi Hendrix od'ed. He was an amazing actor. He pulled off the very difficult lead role in the larger than life Synecdoche, New York (One of my all-time favourite movies) with ease. PSH generally seemed like one of the most savvy actors in the business. There were hardly any critical failures in his resume (except Patch Adams and Along Came Polly). Many actors nowadays only wish they had his sense of judgement when it comes to taking part in certain projects.
