The simple answer is clearly Hoarfrost. Or maybe I Love You Golden Blue, but it might just be my intense love of that song clouding things haha. Personally, I'd go with Anagramma, because while it's not explicitly a love song, it just sounds like being in love...

Unwind sounds like a love song, to me. I've got no recollection of the lyrics but the song makes me feel fuzzy.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I decided to go with Sugar Kane, because not only is it a love song (of sorts) but it also serves as a good introduction to my favorite parts of the band's music-it's driving, fuzzy in some parts and crystal clean in others, discordant and melodic at the same time, and has a fun, freewheeling feel...
I was originally going to burn her a copy of Daydream Nation since that was the first complete SY album I heard and is generally considered their defining work, but then I remembered it's kind of long and sometimes she can have a short attention span (like me haha).

PCH Even Karen Revisited seems about some unfinished business, regardless of the few lines at the end. It's not like SY are famous for writing conventional love songs anyway. If she doesn't like the less pleasing to the ear numbers, chances are that she'll appreciate the poppier stuff, so you might as well make your choice a less restrictive one. |

Also, forget about SY ''love'' songs. Put Duran Duran's ''Rio'' on your mixtape instead of this miserable indie sod stuff. She'll take her clothes off more promptly.

I always feel Reena as a powerful love song
The day I met my partner I went biking for half an hour through the empty streets of Holstebro, Denmark listening to it - and we've been in love ever since p.s. how do i get rid of empty page under my name? Love the song but...feel like something different |

Genteel Death with the best choice in the entire thread. Well that and

I think there is something strangely romantic in Hoarfrost. It's not like, elated or giddy love...more like "grown up" love. It's different.
