one could say to himself that there could not be nothing more horrible than the case of Natascha Kampusch (also Austrian, had been kidnapped and locked up in the cellar for about 8 years - see this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natascha_Kampusch ) and then this comes. That's truly, truly fucked up. Man deserves to rot in hell.

I was really expecting they'd find Madeleine McCann somewhere down there...
On a more serious note, the fact that those children lived down there all their lives without ever having seen sunlight at all and with TV being their only window to the outside world really reminded me of a bizarre modern version of Plato's cave. |
