Guiness is okay, but trust me, there are much better stouts out there. Try one of the Rogue stouts. They make a couple of awesome ones, among them, their Chocolate and Shakespear Stouts.

Last time I went to Ireland my cousin took me to every pub within walking distance of his house (that's a lot of pubs) in search of the perfect pint of Guinness. No Guinness cold filtered in sight naturally. |

No, I have to admit, just the imported stuff. I know there's a difference, from all I've heard. I'm just sayin' for American Guiness drinkers, they would do themselves a favor to explore some of the awesome American-made stouts by the likes of Rogue and other microbreweries. |

Sorry, don't really know what I meant by my statement. I have no idea where Guinness is even brewed these days. It used to be in Dublin I know. It's all a matter of taste anyway and there's very little choice where I live. |

I think you're right though. I think the "real" Guiness in your neck of the woods, especially from the tap, is golden. It's the genuine article. |

actually, for being a low priced beer, it's not too bad... although, if I'm going cheap, I usually hit up the Black Label

Guiness. I'm not a big Guiness drinker, but it just so happens to be what I last drank.

I had one of those 'Flaming Danny's I've been hearing so much about. Have you tried one, Julian?
