My connection is decent. I enjoyed it very much. I would have liked it to last a lot more, even. It was great from start to finish, the last couple of songs really killed, especially those parts where they kicked out the jams.

I'm gonna start following this band very closely, and i'm thankful with Steve Shelley. Due to his involvement, i started paying attention to Disappears, they are right up my alley, but i most likely wouldn't know about them if not for their link with one of my favourite drummers.

Adolfo, would you mind recommending me the software you use for the purpose of capturing streaming video? I'm only familiar with the downloadhelper extension on firefox, but it wouldn't always work, especially on sites like this. There's still a Low performance that i'd like to snatch from some website, but so far the pieces of software i've downloaded and tried have all been useless. Please, hook me up if you can. Thanks.

Well... i'm a mac user, and i use ScreenFlow. Since you are probably on a windows machine that won't give you much help. i searched a little bit, this one seems reasonable --> http://camstudio.org/
I also tried to use Realplayer Downloader on the Disappears stream, but no good. On some sites, you can just right-click and hit View Source Page (or something similar) and then Crtl+F (to make a search) and just by typing ".flv" or ".mp4", you can find the direct link to the video. I did that on the fromthebasement.tv website.

JAPAN RELIEF

Disappears collaborated with White/Light in March at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago as part of the ongoing Face the Strange live music series. A download of this performance, recorded by Jeremy Lemos and Andrew Hernandez, and a 23"x35" two-color poster printed by Mat Daly and designed by Brian Case are available for $25 with all proceeds going to the Shelterbox organization for the relief effort in Japan.

The live material is 34 minutes of continuous music incorporating improvisation, the song 'Revisiting' from Guider and songs from the Live at Echo Canyon tour-only EP and cassette from plustapes.
