Why does the option have to be between 100% purehearted and Walt Disney? Why assume that if we're not capable of becoming the best we can be, we default into becoming the worst we can be? |

Maybe I am just so naive, but I think there is a message in Lion King. Anyway it has been very important film to my son.

was he some sort of serial killer or something? i really don't know. i imagine he had to be a piece of work to build such an empire, but still, what kind of criminal are we talking about? anyway, becoming "the best we can be" does not usually come with power and fortune-- traditionally at least, it's renouncing the world and the self that "purifies" the spirit. big egos can do big things, but also have big issues. christians will see those issues as a highway to hell, nietzscheans will see them as the price of greatness. me, i'm a bit agnostic and full of questions. but think about it. if you get 100 million dollars today, your porn collection might suddenly start to include real people, and nobody is going to be able to stop that. all it takes is an itch that you can scratch, plus a boundless supplier of scratches, and two years from now you might be an unrecognizable degenerate. everyone has their dark tendencies. they just need an enabler. no bigger enabler than power, with money a close second. exactly! that artists are assholes is a given. but at least they're assholes who make something good / beautiful--- unlike the rest of the assholes. ha! |

Yo...Snow White and Alice in Wonderland has some amazing animation. I love watching them solely for that. It's so smooth and life-like to me.

I posted this on Facebookkkssss
"The beauty of Art is that I can use life lessons from Cliff Huxtable while being repulsed and disgusted by Bill Cosby." The Map is not the Territory The Artist is NOT the Artwork...
