Has anyone checked out the Berlin series at all? I have yet to get around to it.

It's been around for quite some time. Two volumes (of a planned trilogy) are on the market.

A lot of everything is available for download, but as for reading stuff, I sort of want to keep it separate from computer. I did have some comics on my old computer, which has been fucked long since.

This one was great, but it's not available in english:

Last graphic novel I read was V for vendetta. I've been meaning to pick up the Superman novel where he fights doomsday.

I haven't read a comic for a very long time.
Used to enjoy Tim Vigil's 'Faust'

It's weird, because I haven't really read any comics or graphic novels in years, however I'm currently being flooded with them to read or reread.

I checked out Volume 3 of the Dark Horse reprints of the early Conans from the library because the stories that Michael Moorcock plotted that have Elric in them are in that and I've never read them.

Meanwhile, The Science Fiction Message Board is having a Group Book Read of Alan Moore's classic Watchmen which I've already read, but don't own. I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive at the library.

Finally, out of the blue, a friend mails me a copy of Frank Miller's Ronin for some reason. Might have been a birthday or Christmas gift, but there was no note. I never did read it though, so it looks like I'll be doing three graphic novels in a row.

I finished Watchmen this morning at about 3am. Borders is having a buy 2 G/N get 1 free thing, I think. So I'll be picking up some more. I'm thinking Batman:The Killing Joke and Batman: Long Halloween.

It was beyond excellent. I had never read a comic before and I just loved every bit of it. The style, the book/story excerpts for each chapter, the framing and color are astounding, but the writing might be the best part. Totally did not see the ending coming.

I agree. Here's an interview you might like, where Alan Moore talks about it.

Wow, I never realized Alan Moore had written so many things. I might have to pick those up instead of the Long Halloween

Alan Moore's Swamp Things were among the best regular comics I ever read (though so was his successor Rick Veitch's run!)

Yeah, Swamp Thing is great. V For Vendetta has dated a bit now but is in lots of ways my favourite of his.

It's funny how when they reach you, they REALLY reach you. A good graphic novel can engross me the same way a really good piece of lit can. Maybe this is due to my predisposition to the visual though? hmm/

I dont think I could stand to read comics/GN on the computer... the fun of slouching down in a really comfy chair and walking around with the thing until you finish it.. is gone.
