oh shit, how come no ones said the butthole surfers yet? also, early flaming lips. helios creed/chrome (from wikipedia, "Helios has said that he invented his trademark sound while trying to replicate the sound he heard in his head while "listening to Black Sabbath on LSD on headphones when I was a teenager.""). pantera. cherubs.
well, no doubt about it, musicians like getting high.

Anything that Mark Lanegan has ever been involved with (except - possibly - the stuff with Isobel Campbell).

karou abe, one of my favorite free jazz artists and saxophonists ever, died from drug and alcohol abuse at a tragically early age, before japanese avant-jazz started to get recognition, so he applies.

you can be in a band and do drugs and not be associated with drugs.
don't list every band that does drugs.

Sly Stone's ''Runnin Away'' is one of the best songs about drugs and street life ever written.

To get away
Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! You're wearing out your shoes Look at you foolin' you Making blues of day and night Hee! Hee! Hee! Hee! You're stretching out your dues Look at you fooling you The shorter cut is quicker but Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Time is here to stay Look at you fooling you The deeper in debt The harder you bet Hee! Hee! Hee! Hee! Need more room to play Look at you fooling you Another day You're farther away Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! A longer trip back home |

I'm taking the thread as being that the band's music is very very clearly influenced by the drugs that they take. Is that right, Mr Sarramkrop?

id still say pink floyd have an association with drugs despite how much acid roger waters did. i mean, theyre entire image was psychedelia based. 'live at pompei' is one of the coolest things to watch while tripping. i mean, i might be wrong but thats always been my conception of them.
