hoarfrost also beats up on wish fulfillment. i have a live lee show from 1996 in hartford, ct where he does a stunning solo version of WF that makes the dirty one seem even more egregiously wrong. i have always been a fan of Dirty...the newfound poppy sheen-n-gloss SY played with for that album fit most of the songs very well. but not with WF; that one needed less studio trapping to be most effective, and the few live renditions lee has done that are out there prove it.

This is probably why he doesnt play it live that much, still a shame cause i love the song.Genetic too.

thanks all, that solo version sounds pretty nifty.
But I don't think SY ever played this song live?
I guess I am going to the next Lee solo performance then...

I love Genetic too. But if it brings up bad vibes I can understand that. Sort of like Tori Amos did not do songs from 'Y Kant Tori Read' for many, many years.
