Antique things (prints, boxes, asorted oddments)
Old books Anything to do with local history (mainly Wirral and Birkenhead, but Liverpool, Chester and Manchester too.). Trade tokens (unnoficial money from 18th-early 20th cetury) Commemorative medals (not military - medals to commemorate the opening of buildings, political reform, important events etc. I like the local history-relatyed and political reform from te mid 19th century best) When I get the chance, I like searching for geological samples too.

Chester (a lovely city very near me) has a big Roman history, so I know a little of the Empire generally, yes. i'm very much a fan of studying history, art and the like.
And we know the Po from the Giovanni Guareschi books of course!

I don't even watch TV anymore. The only time I watch it is when my friends are and I have nothing better to do. I dislike the whole idea of the commercial promotion that TV portrays.

May I join in the art bit? I'm not so good, but I can do top threes:
Dead artists: Paul Klee, Hilda Carline, Walter Richard Sickert. Living artists: MArk Wallinger, Damien Hirst, Susan Hiller. Not much painting as such in those three, but there you are.

I listen to music mostly. It's the most relaxing thing I can do. I try to sleep but I find it very hard. TV is ok but it's not healthy to watch it all the time, like most people in western civalization do.
