Well, as usual I've veered towards a single course that isnt overly frightening , as I dont have a lot of time or attention span/focus to really challenge myself these days. The area I always veer towards is English and Psychology/the Humanities.
Whenever I browse the Visual Arts dept page, I get very excited. I really wish I could learn how to make sculptures and learn what about what everyone is doing there. I want to learn how to take good photos. I want to explore personal expression and articulate concepts through all that stuff and learn how its done. Yet I dont have the slightest background in any of it and I really dont know what the hell is going on there. I have a huge fear of failure and that I just wont get it. I would hold onto a lump of wet clay in my hands until it melted onto the floor. Then get frustrated and kick the wad at the wall. |

I was supposed to go back today, but things were fucked.
Tomorrow is the day my world ends.

im gong to be changing my schedual a bit. until now i was doing a double major in musicology and literature, but im changingthe literature to a minor. i signed up for courses but im really pissed cause all of the non mandatory courses that i really wanted to take clash with other courses so i wont be able to take em.
im taking this year (dont remember the days) in music- musical cognition history of music-classical period history of music-romantic period hearing enhancment 2 harmony 2 analyzing music through a historical perspective i really wanted to take arabic music, but i cant this year, so i might take indian music. and maybe a course on the history and structure of instruments. masterpices in music i think thats it foe music. in lit im not sure what ill take since some courses might come off the schedule due to it becoming a minor literary critacism from aristotle to nitzche 20th century literary terms text and context folktales-this is the course that i most want to take. and i might take a course in classics and in the new testemant and im starting to learn german and i might take a course in lingustics and maybe in east asia....
