Yeah, I was thinking about picking Dikembe up for blocks, boards, and FG% for a couple of my fantasy teams, but I don't really have anybody that I can drop.....I'll have to see how he plays the rest of the week.

he's probably the oldest basketball player playing right now. i know there's an older one but i don't think he's playing right now.

i remember hearing something that we don't know his real age. he will never reveal it or something.

Julio Franco is 49 and is the oldest player in MLB history to ever hit a homerun. As of now, I'm pretty sure he hasn't signed a contract to play again this year. He was an awesome player back in the day with the glorious Braves teams of the early 90's. He also has one of the greatest batting stances ever.

The sad truth is that there are so few quality big men playing in the NBA that the services of Dikembe Mutombo are in high demand.

Hence the reason why the Trail Blazers picked Oden over Durant who has mad skills. Big men win championships. I hope Shaq can get it together in Phoenix....they've looked horrible since trading Marion, who in my opinion, is the best ALL AROUND player in the NBA.
