I saw him play the opera at the Liquid Kitty in LA a few weeks ago. Sounded awesome. There were at least three (3) tapers there, but I am unable to find any torrents. If anybody knows where a torrent might be, it would be appreciated. I have been checking Dime and Archive.org daily. I figured Kill Rockstars would put it out.... The Japanese price is a little high for me, plus I'm hoping/waiting for the vinyl.

anyone heard this? I think it's oop. It's the DOS cd which combines the first two DOS vinyl releases. Interesting stuff. It's Watt and kira from Black Flag, his ex-wife. So yeah it's two basses and both of them singing. It's really interesting stuff. I'm a huge Watt fan. Big musical influence. Seems to be a supernice guy too, I emailed him to let him know how much HYPHENATED MAN blew me away. He seemed very grateful and appreciative. I mean, what an amazing musician. On HYPHENATED MAN, listen to the guitar riff 47 seconds into track 2. So good! Man I could go on and on about that album in particular, so many little gems, the way the instruments interplay is beyond genius. Anyway... |

I want to talk about DOS again. Very very strange listening experience but really entertaining. They actually do a cover of PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY!

I was going to miss the Missingmen when they came through Milwaukee since it's a 21+ show and I'm just 20 but fuck that there's no way I don't show.

Show last night was GREAT! Got to talk to Tom Watson for a bit during the opening act. He was chillin in the crowd with everyone. Met Mike Watt. Got a pic with him but you cant see anything cause it was taken on my phone. Pisses me off. I did get a few good pics of the show. These turned out the best

watt's account of sharing bill with northampton wools and how it felt to play for Thurston's mother-scroll down to his April 5 entry. I'm going to his chicago gig next week.
