the only way that list could be even slightly justifiable is if it was 'the top 1000 songs of all time... in no particular order'
even then its still gashballs.

I still can't get over how bad this list is. How narrowminded do you have to be to put Oasis NINE TIMES in a top 100 songs list. NINE TIMES
... NINE TIMES!!!

i have no problem with all the shitty picks (they're expected), but at least pick a good no. 1. to say mr. brightside is a better song than, say, a day in the life...well...i have no words.

Mr Brightside is crushingly depressing for a very large number of reasons. So look on the bright side (boom boom), all the people who voted for it will one day be 35 with a mortage and a beer belly, and that song will come onto the radio and they'll be filled not with fond memories, but despair.
Its that kind of stuff that really keeps you going.

That's a bit of an understatement. I can't even spot 10 songs that aren't by British bands. Incredible, the BNP must be pleased. |

^I found 12:
84 Green Day - American Idiot (oh, the non-irony) 79 Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody 72 Foo Fighters – Everlong 64 Foo Fighters - The Pretender 61 The Killers - Somebody Told Me 51 The Killers - When You Were Young 49 Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit 38 Queens Of The Stone Age - No One Knows 25 The Strokes - Last Nite 13 The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army 5 Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire 1 The Killers - Mr Brightside Although, maybe I shouldn't count the Killers, since they basically wish they were a English band. An English band from the 80s, to be exact.

And very few of those songs are by people of non-white origins. Political correctness gone mad.
