however, while my brother Jazzy Naphtli is living in Nafir Silk [addis suburb] in beautiful house much like the one pictured above, the costs in the city are going up while the standrads are going down. essentially, the city has only repaired and maintained about half of its services, leaving much of the city in decline for the past ten years now, as the population swells. even as little as five years ago, Addis Ababa was an entirely different place. there were no black outs, increasing development and construction, proper maintainance of logistical infrastructures, new housing, suburban expansion etc etc, today it is the opposite. increasing black outs from power shortages do to increased demand with inferior production, serious decline in construction, crucial flaws in maintainance, housing has remained steady but as the city drops what is it worth? I am looking at citys like Awash, Nazret, Jimma, Harar, or Dire Damo now, rather then live in Addis, because those same flashy La Jolla homes can be found in all of these much smaller cities.

To be fair, Britain is in serious decline: the rapid disentegration of the inner cities; violent crime figures spiralling out of control; plummeting education standards; political correctness stifling debate; property prices rising to a level that now excludes a majority of the population from the market.

Frankly, unless you're earning way beyond the national average, it's become nigh-on impossible to build any kind of foundations for a comfortable life in Britain.

What are the chances of getting adequate employment in a city like that?

In all honesty, I despair. I dread to think what England will be like in the next ten years. I only hope that I'm not living hear long enough for it to really affect me. It's become a cliche to talk of the country as being finished, but when I look around me, I can't pretend that the cliche may well now have become a reality.

hm fuck yeah. i'd go back to dc or else to nueva york. of course it would be fucking hard to rent a 3 bedroom house with a bigass backyard in nueva york, in a pretty central location-- fucker it would even be hard in dc, talking maybe 1 million dollar hard. oh wait, i rent-- still it would be fucking hard. but i digress. okay if i could have a roomy ass penthouse or loft or some such shit yeah i'd move to nueva york right now. or dc. yummy. but i'm liking albuquerque more so i don't know. im having more fun here than ive had elsewhere in years.

wuhen you get to know the city better, there are tons of places out of 99% of the tourists' intineraries. My only complain on venice is that it's pretty small and there are not many green spaces nor nice clubs.

Florence (and many other cities in that "piece" of Italy) is really a nice city, but in the summer it's hooooottttt.... and full of tourists too hehe.
