I really like Sister, yes.
Not sure if it's my favorite. I suppose it depends what mood I am in. Certainly Schizophrenia is one of my favorite tracks of all. But I like both the Goo and Daydream Nation albums very much. Since some people mentioned vinyl. Yes I own it on vinyl, bought it when it first came out. Some other interesting SY vinyl I own: The Velvet Monkeys. "Rake - original motion picture soundtrack" LP from 1990 by Thurston Moore and J.Mascis. Mint condition. SY. 100% 10" vinyl. Limited edition on orange vinyl and with concentric groove. Mint condition. SY. 4 Tunna Bricks. 12" 4 track E.P. Mint condition. SY. Starpower. 10" limited edition on purple vinyl. Mint. Harry Crews. Naked In Garden Hills. LP. With Kim Gordon, Lydia Lunch and Sadie Mae. Also Mint. I actually have plenty more too. But those are amongst my favorites.

this record is way better:
and it's harder to find on vinyl, so it's twice as better. |

This is interesting...Sister was my first. Had it on tape and loved the fuck out of it. Never heard anything like it, etc etc.
Then, my tape broke and I upgraded to cd. Still good, but not as good. Something about the squashed sound of cassette complimented Sister's aura perfectly, and the "clarity" of digital sound seemed to obfuscate that feeling. So...I grabbed an old tape, copied the mutha, and ahhhh....so much better. |
