I used to like prindle's writings more I suppose. Occasionally his reviews are just filled with some unrelated and nonsensical garbage that is supposed to be funny, but instead it's just tiresome to read all that. Maybe he's just imprisoned by his style of writing and can't come up with anything else.
Or he does that because he has a large fan base and he can get away with it. Most of the time he's good read though... Oh, I can't even remember the album titles of many of the records I own, listing them would be ridiculous. Plus I don't think you're really entitled to list top 73 albums if you only own around 330 of them. 330 means quite narrow variety of music. |

No idea who this guy is, but I sent him a 73 list anyway.
I gave it very little thought and my "top five" (73-69) had a very heavy Iggy bias. I think I forgot the Pixies and SY entirely. Blasphemy... |

Haha I love his style of writing. It's fresh. And with really great albums, he really does give the album justice (see: sex pistols review for a quick example). And strangely... he's actually funny and very knowledgable of music.

yeah i think he's writings are mostly funny, but then he doesn't have a clue about bands like velvet underground... i think his reviews of the smiths were really great though (and i'm a big smiths fan).

Clear Spot and The Spotlight Kid over Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller), Ice Cream For Crow and Doc at the Radar Station?!?!?!
I would do this list but I don't think I'd ever be able to finish it. |

if this would have been top-113 or something i'm sure both shiny beast and doc would have made it. and maybe the reason i'm including spotlight kid is that it's on the same cd as clear spot... |
