I think that if you can get through your teenage years without smoking you'll be ok. You just start when you think you're immortal and then can't stop when you realise you're not.

Luckily I never smoked and so I can be all smug about it.

My partner stopped smoking when she got pregnant and hasn't wanted one since (3 years now). Worth a go?

i'm starting again after having quit for four months, but i know i don't want to get addicted again, even. i've previously quit for one year 2003/2004, and then also for six months in 2005.
