still epic, amazing album, put this on again yesterday and was blown away.
here's a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQc-2bBmdfw more awesome moments in that song than most band's full albums.. that part where it stops and they let their amps feedback and then the bass comes back in? fuck. |

Fuck yeah, I like this. I'd take a re-upload as well, if you'd be so inclined. Can't find any downloads.

haha. well most my cd's are burnt copies nowadays, because I sold a lot of my actual copies a while back because I was supposed to move out in august. still ,if you stole all my cd-r's, you'd have to steal about 47 spindles full (which all are completely full, with about 55 cd-r's, some with 105 cd-r's in them).. some with more than one album on the same disc. so that's a lot of shit I think.

Yikes. Thats upwards of 3000+ cds. Hm, how many of those are AMAZING?
Do you ever want to get rid of stuff like that? I want to get a new computer, and I debate about whether I'd even bother moving most of the music I have over. I sorta like the idea of starting fresh, and if theres an album that haunts me badly to get back, then I will. |

you've got a good point, I don't know how many are amazing, I think I've gotten rid of most of the stinkers and got it down to stuff I actually listen to though. I guess having OCD doesn't help, nor does the occasional person going "hey do you have that obscure album by ANALLY DISEMBOWLED ELEPHANT CHRIST [actual band]? I need it dude."

Ah, yeah, I guess thats a useful position to have. Youre a walking catalog. And theres always the chance that'll happen either way, something so obscure goes through your fingers. But...at least thats a benefit to having the internet. If you look hard enough, you'll find it. Or just go to Japan, they have everything.
Having OCD prevents you from parting with things? Do you rearrange your stuff very much? I always want to re-organize my stuff based on the eras of my life, a chronology of phases. But I live in such a pigpen holocaust, its impossible to start. |

All my stuff is organized by genre (or subgenre.. or sub-subgenre), and then alphabetized. My OCD makes me feel like I can't be without it. Like, if I get into this band, and I like them beyond a certain degree, I need to get everything. Really been a bitch with stuff like Merzbow, though I was happy to complete my Sun City Girls (and related projects) collection a while back, which was probably 200 albums, all combined.
But, honestly, if I lost all my CD's in a fire or something, it wouldn't bother me too much. I dunno. It's just stuff, really. I try not to invest too many emotions into "stuff", as much as I love it, because.. well.. it's stuff. It's cheap plastic. It's replaceable. It's meaningless. |

Sure, but it does a good job of feeding into the time we have. What else are we gonna do?
Did you ever find your habits change from before you were ever in a relationship and then during/after ? I used to do things like that (exactly that with the organization of cds, and was obsessive like that about the first handful of bands that I liked), and a few things here or there like I could only have the TV volume on an even number, but after being in a relationship for a while that stuff kinda stopped. I guess it was because I moved in with him into this disaster of a room with nowhere to put my stuff/organize it. Its been that way ever since. |

Actually, I mainly just don't listen to stuff that reminds me of her, currently. Which is a LOT of stuff that I like a LOT that I'm currently not listening to.

This album is fucking awesome, though. Many thanks to asp. I love an album whose vocals blend into the craziness of everything else so well that you cant even detect a personality, cause it just comes together as a sound, an idea. So good !

This CD is fucking awesome. I went to get the first CD too, but I already had it in iTunes. I must have gotten it here before. Both CDs are great, though.

But actually, if a band has record numbers in the hundreds, even up beyond 20, I seriously won't let myself get into them. It's too much nasty work digging up random albums all the time. I still only have like half of Jandek's stuff. I think that's literally the only reason I don't listen to some bands. |

Hhaha. I think I like the challenge. It always sucks though if I end up not enjoying the band as much as I thought I would (see Nurse with Wound).
Jandek was a huge chore, getting all that stuff... The most ridiculous was my brief flirt with Wolf Eyes, I downloaded, traded, or bought well over 100 albums in the span of a few months. Burnt myself out on them forever, though they weren't THAT good to begin with honestly. Last band I went insane over was Charalambides (a good 50 releases) and all side projects (a good 100 releases combined). .........ANYWAY. Yeah, Fermenting Dregs just rules, don't they? Ridiculously awesome band, more people need to know about them. |
