I guess my dream would be to play in a Glenn Branca guitar ensemble. That would be awesome.

for sheer catharsis maybe early Black Dice (guitar).. or Whitehouse (vocals)...
playing guitar in the Dead C would be superb as well.. they seem to have a pretty loose, laid back approach, real free, yet they consistently come out with interesting, engaging records.. |

They may not be very popular or well known, but I liked the final lineup a lot, and would have gladly joined in on guitar. |

FUGAZI
Because any other band I'd probably end up dying from being in. And then I could fulfill my bicurious guy picciotto fantasies. |

I'd like to say the same thing - that i can make my own kind of legend or whatever but i'd say it were an iffy foundation. What's the band by the way? It might be probable that i run into you sometime. |

Being in Animal Collective seems quite fun, or early Swell Maps.

Great question
I would say two bands. I would love it, if I was an instrumental virtuoso, to play guitar in Phish. When they were together they played two sets a night (one hour set and a 2 hour set, no opening band) and they never played the same setlist, nor even played the same song the same way twice. It would have been a musician's dream. Other than that I would have loved loved loved to have been a GODDAMN MISFIT. I would have played drums and been their permament drummer That would be fun as fuck.

Pavement. I'd sing (not saying that I'm in any way shape or form better than Malkmus, I just think It'd be fun.) Dinosaur Jr., as bassist. Or The Flaming Lips as a guitarist.

Loop, Overhang Party or The Darkside.
Any of those would be great fun to play with. |

Indeed - though it's being held together by string. Clicking the link in my signature should take you there - I really want to get some proper recordings done. Also, I dont know where any of the open-mics are in cardiff anymore... Apart from buffalo - but a bunch of them have stopped indefinatly it seems though i haven't checked them out recently. |

I'd play the drums for Pavement if they decided to reunite. I'm still waiting...
