The ratio of ugly to pretty for any hair color is the same.

Since there are a ton of brunettes, there are lots of pretty brunettes.

Since redheads are about 1/100, a pretty redhead is very hard to come by, but if you take an equal sample size of redheads and brunettes, the amount will be the same.

Christina Hendricks is a really hot redhead (she plays a sexretary in Mad Men)
