Cool...recordings?
I'd love to make a nice pedal board, but I need a new amp first. While we are on that guitar topic: CHOUT (or anyone else), what amps would you recommend for playing in a band? (I swear I will start a band eventually)

I have been using a Line 6 Flextone II. one 12" and 60 watts. It has lots of 'modeling' sounds (amps, effects) but I don't like most of them, so I never use them. I have it usually on the Marshall '68 Plexi model. When I get my renter's refund in august, I'm going to get a Fender Twin! I want an amp with two channels so I can run effects in stereo. It depends how loud your band plays. 50 watts and above generally is plenty for loud rock. |

You'll love the Twin. Fender amps kick so much ass for the price they are. If you haven't already, I'd check out a vibrolux and a bassman too. I've played silverfaces of both and they were awesome, and silverfaces are supposed to be the worst fender amps.

I like the Small Clone. It sounds better than the Boss Super Chorus I traded it in for, but it's not as flexible with the tone only having one dial (speed) and one switch (depth). An effect blend dial would be nice, but that's just nitpicking.

Any cheaper suggestions? Thinking more along the lines of $200-400...

I use a Behringer amp. I've heard alot of shit about Behringer products, and I see what is meant. The effects aren't very good (which is to be expected) but the amp (100 watts) is very loud.
I believe it's $200, maybe $250. |

I was thinking about a Deville before I decided on the twin - they're very nice.

Yeah, my friend Matt has a deville and I played it at my last gig, I like it. (my bassman is at the shop ) I like my friend Nick's vibrolux better as well as my bassman, although I didn't fool with the deville's EQ and stuff too much because I was rushing the setup.

I got a new vibrolux custom and I like it. 40w all tubes. It's not so loud but it's enough to wake up all the neighborhood! it's really soft and deep with fat bass freq and the tubes have a awesome dynamic. It's my amp.

chout but you want to buy the new twin or a twin reverb?
I have a 2 channel amp but to play stereo for real is better to play with 2 different amp around.

I'll probably find an old one used. They're pretty common in the shops around here.

The red MXR is an MXR Dyna Comp, and next to it looks like a.. Boss DD-20 Giga Delay. Am I right, chout?
